Tandoori Chicken Recipe

Ingredients (4 people):

  • 1 chicken
  • 2 onions
  • 2 yogurts
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper
  • 2 ground cayenas
  • 1 tablespoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon meat juice
  • 1 lime juice
  • Water
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • oregano

Preparation of Tandoori Chicken recipe:

For the tandoori, mix the yogurts with a dash of oil and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Toast the paprika, turmeric, cumin and garlic powder, pepper, ground cayenne and ginger powder in an oil-free pan. Add the roasted spices to the yogurt and moisten with a little water. Mix well.

Chop the chicken, put the pieces on a baking sheet and season. Use them with the tandoori and let stand with this mixture for at least 1 hour. Roast in the oven at 220 ° C, for 25-35 minutes.

Cut the onions into julienne and put them on a high heat in a pan with a little oil. Add some chopped oregano, lime juice and meat juice. Skip

Serve the tandoori chicken on a plate and accompany with the sauteed onion.
