Caramelized Apricots Recipe

Ingredients (4 people):

  • 6 apricots
  • 12 strawberries
  • 250 gr. of cheese spread
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine
  • 60 gr. of sugar
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • mint leaves

Preparation of caramelized apricots recipe:

Clean 8 strawberries, chop them and place them in the beaker. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of grenadine. Crush and reserve the strawberry sauce.

Put water to heat in a pan, add the apricots and hide them. Peel them, cut them in half and remove the bone.

Clean the other 4 strawberries, roll them into small dice and mix them with the cheese spread. Add two tablespoons of sugar and mix well. Fill the apricots.

Sprinkle the apricots with a little sugar and with the help of a blowtorch caramelize them.

Serve the strawberry sauce at the bottom and place stuffed apricots on top. Garnish with mint leaves.


Today we have added grenadine to the sauce, but if there are no children at home you can replace it with 2 tablespoons orange or strawberry liqueur.


This dessert does not contain gluten, so it is suitable for celiac. In addition, it is prepared without egg.

This recipe is also suitable for lacto-vegetarian people, since it contains cheese. Vegan people or who cannot eat cheese due to intolerances, may substitute it with vegan spread cheese (in specialty food stores and large supermarkets).
