Meringue Milk Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients of the Meringue Milk Ice Cream recipe:
- -For eight people:
- 1/2 l. milk
- 1/4 l. cream
- 3 egg whites
- 75 gr. of sugar
- 50 gr. icing sugar
- 2 jelly sheets
- 1/2 envelope strawberry jelly
- 1 cinnamon stick
- A piece of lemon rind
- mint leaves
Preparation of the Meringue Milk Ice Cream recipe:
Put the milk and cream to cook in a casserole. Add the sugar, the cinnamon stick and the piece of lemon peel. When the milk takes on flavor, remove from heat and incorporate the gelatin leaves previously soaked in cold water. Let temper and remove the cinnamon stick and lemon rind.
Put some water in another casserole, when it starts to boil, remove the casserole from the heat, add the strawberry jelly, dissolve it and add a little cold water. Go to a mold and wait until it sets.
With the rod mixer, mount the egg whites until stiff. Add the icing sugar and keep riding.
Add the whites to the warm milk and mix well.
Cut 8 squares of cardboard and 8 of baking paper, and make them a cut in the center, insert into each one, a teaspoon of dessert. Pour the mixture into individual molds and place on each one a teaspoon with its corresponding paper (which is glued to the meringue milk) and cardboard. Enter in the freezer until it hardens. Unmold, serve and decorate with the chopped gelatin and some mint leaves.
